Mexican soup

Recipe to Mexican soup with sausage.

  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 can white beans
  • 1 can red kidney beans
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 pound (450 g) sausage (like kielbasa or chorizo) sliced
  • 1 red pepper chopped
  • salt, cayenne pepper, chili powder to taste


  1. Sauté the sausage with the onion in the olive oil in a large pot over medium/high heat.

  2. Add stock, beans, tomato sauce and pepper. Bring to a boil, and then add sausage with onion. 

  3. Reduce to a simmer and cook for 15 to 20 minutes.

  4. Add spices to taste.
