Recipe to Mexican soup with sausage.
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 can white beans
- 1 can red kidney beans
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 pound (450 g) sausage (like kielbasa or chorizo) sliced
- 1 red pepper chopped
- salt, cayenne pepper, chili powder to taste
Sauté the sausage with the onion in the olive oil in a large pot over medium/high heat.
Add stock, beans, tomato sauce and pepper. Bring to a boil, and then add sausage with onion.
Reduce to a simmer and cook for 15 to 20 minutes.
Add spices to taste.
